The most typical cake of Sintra is the Travesseiros de Sintra. These are puff pastry pastries filled with a delicious almond cream. They’re sweet, light, and flaky, and are a must-try when visiting the town. The almond filling gives them a unique, rich flavor that perfectly complements the delicate layers of pastry.
